Family trip to Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam...

December last year my parents came back to Peninsular Malaysia from the land of Kuching Sarawak. As our family gathers, my dad had given a suggestion to go to Bukit Cahaya located in Shah Alam. But we were thinking of going somewhere else such as the Taman tasik Titiwangsa in Kuala Lumpur. Dad does not like going into Kuala Lumpur, so he still intended to go to Bukit Cahaya by saying, "Bukit Cahaya is a better place to go for a family outing than Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. There are a lot of recreational activities that we can do. In fact, there is also a spot where we can lay down for some picnic. Also, the shop there does rent us a bicycle to go around the park. With this very determine statement of his, we could not say anything but agree to his wants. Since this is our first family gathering in the year 2007, so we had decided to go to Bukit Cahaya. "Yay...let's go." Everyone was in a very happy and jovious mood.

The travelling distance from our home in Puchong to Bukit Cahaya located in Shah Alam took us about 1 hour. So many things happens in the 1 hour of travelling....Aman, one of our brother wanted to vomit due to travellling sickness and our little sister Aishah cried wanting to go to the toilet...so they asked to stop at the petrol station. But my sister driving does not want to stop. So I told her "do you want to be responsible in cleaning dad's car if they vomit in here?"...well these are some unwanted events occuring those time.

As we travel down the long highway with many pit stop at the petrol station due to the above matters...we, finally reached Bukit Cahaya. Everyone got out from the van with tired faces and feeling lazy to walk. But everything changes when we entered the recreational park. "Wow!" everyone said in an astonishment. No kidding, it is like a heaven on earth. The park were crowded with flying birds and butterflies. We were ammused and touched by Gods' creation and power. Later we at the bicycle rental shop and took picture together.

After renting bicycle, we headed to the pony estate. The ponies were so much cuter compared to horse because they have some sort of star on their forehead. Our little brother and sister wanting to get a ride on the pony...but kak ngah said "riding a pony is as boring as riding a camels and donkeys, riding horse is much more better." Well of course she can't ride a pony because she's heavy and infact the pony itself is small in size. Later on our lilttle brother and sister went to ride the ponies with excited faces. I can see the joyful rythm inside them...super power to see through people huh...just like superman. Anyway, by cycling around the park we went to the traditional Malay village, sawah field, seasonal house, birds garden and much more that I just can't seem to remember much. But the point is, it is so nice being there with families and friends.

Hence, our journey and activities end with returning back the rented bicycle and heading back to the main exit....But "where are the others?" said my mom. So my mom, my sister and I walked through the park in search of my dad and my other siblings. We were very exhausted...and finally we found them. They were still playing around with their bicycle near the bird garden. My dad looks as if he does not want to go back home...really. He's the most excited person at that time I think.

Our high enthusiasm had gone down since it's late and nearly dawn for us to pack and get home. Everyone had came back to the main pit stop in order to walk to the exit together. Overall we were happy and satisfied with this trip. It really shows that Malaysia have it's own uniqueness just like other countries do. So go visit places in Malaysia!.

As we sat in the car....I said to my dad, "Dad, this is the best family trip ever for all of us. We appriciate you for bringing us to this park. Everything is great over there! You are such a nice father.Thank you so much dad. Since you are a nice father, can you sponsor us for a shopping at KLCC tomorrow?"

I can see my fathers' face ...he actually felt appriciated and thanked by his whole family for appraising him. Therefore he said to us..."Alraight! Tomrrow we all go shopping!" And so everyone shouts with excitement.

Britney's Child Custody..

Britney Spears shouldn't go planning any slumber parties just yet. While the time she's spent with her two children over the past month has seemingly proved beneficial to all parties involved, overnight visits with Sean Preston and Jayden James are still a ways off, according to Kevin Federline's resident legal eagle, Mark Vincent Kaplan.

The attorney told E! News Friday that the monitored visits between Spears and her sons "have been nothing out of the norm," but that "there has to be consistency over time.

"I don't think 30 or 40 days is the magic number," Kaplan said. After nearly two months of separation, Spears' visitation privileges were restored Feb. 22—after her father, Jamie Spears, and his attorneys reached a deal with K-Fed's camp—and she saw them the following day for the first time since Jan. 3, when she was briefly hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following a custody-fueled standoff with police at her Beverly Hills home.

Kaplan continues to credit Jamie Spears' newfound presence in his daughter's life for this noticeably more amiable state of affairs.
"All we know is that since Jamie Spears has been involved it has been a very stabilizing force," he said.

The elder Spears has been serving as coconservator of the pop star's estate since Feb. 1, when she was admitted to UCLA Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation. Jamie and a court-approved psychiatrist are required to be present when Spears spends time with her sons.

Kaplan said that the next custody-related hearing is expected to take place in May, and he's still anticipating a trial, in preparation of which he has deposed a number of Spears' friends and associates, including off-again, on-again manager Larry Rudolph.

- Some people will find it difficult to believe in her change and some might still think that she had mental problems.

Walt Disney Cinderella...

Beautiful Cinderella has been forced by her jelous stepmother and ugly stepsisters to become a servant in her own home, though she keeps a positive outlook with the help of her friends, the chatty mice and chirping birds. When the King and the Duke plan a royal ball so that Prince Charming might find a bride, all the eligible maidens are invited-including Cinderella. Though the ugly stepsisters destroy the ball gown that Cinderella's animal friends have made, Cinderella Fairy Godmother sings a magic song, and creates all the things Cinderella needs to get to the ball.Once there, she instantly catches the Prince eye. They spend the whole night together, but it is over much too soon.

As the clock strikes midnight, Cinderella races from the castle in a gallant attempt to get home before the last strike of the bell. In her haste, she looses her glass slipper on the steps of the castle.With the slipper as his guide, the Prince searches the Kingdom for the fair lady. He sends his Duke out to find the one lady who's foot fits theslipper. Try as they might, none of the stepsisters can fit in. They give Cinderella a try, and it fits!. Leaving Cinderella's evil stepsisters and stepmother's behind, Cinderella is brought to the Castle and she and the Prince live happily ever after.

The changed Version of Cinderella: ...here goes;

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful lady named Cinderella. She had been living her whole life with her dreadful and evil stepmother and stepsisters. As we know, she had been turn into a servant once her father died. She barely had no friends at all. But thanks to the animals around her, they became friends.

One fine day, "ting-tong" the bell of their house rang. A post man were standing straight infront of their house with glittering envelope. Cinderella stepsisters ran towards the post man in a clumsiest manners and fight over the envelope. "It is from the King of England!" one of them said. It was the invitation to the Royal birthday party to celebrate the Prince twenty first of his age. Everyone was invited. Without hesitation both of Cinderella's stepsisters hurried to find a perfect dress.

Cinderella were helped by her animal friends in choosing the best dress to the party. Well, the Prince did not mention any theme...so Cinderella chooses the retro skirt instead of dress or gown. They are rather long and hot to wear.

Suddenly, WOOSSHHHH....a bright light appeared..."O it's you fairy Godmother" said Cinderella. Without hesitation Cinderella asked her fairy Godmother a shoes, handbag, a make over and most importantly a sun glasses. In a blink of an eye...everything she asked for are granted. To suits her retro theme, her fairy Godmother provide her with Harlie Davidson motorbike. "Cool" said Cinderella. And so Cinderella went to the party.

At the party, her eye had catches the most handsomest guy on earth that she could ever think of. The guy were dressed in perfect coat and bow. Nonetheless, the guy were also atracted to Cinderella, and no doubt her dress. "It must be the prince" said Cinderella. As they meet, talk and dance they are becoming more intimate. Well guess what??? the clock strike midnight. So as we know, Cinderella ran as fast as she could, as if she's joining the marathon; and back to her home.

In the morning, "Oh no my cool shoe is missing" "both of them??." Cinderella was hoping someone generous would return her shoes back as it was her first shoes ever made by her ferry godmother.

Later in the morning, Cinderella went to the market to buy some fruits and vegetables. As she walked past each and every stall....suddently she saw,"my shoes!." It was no turning back. She ran toward the guy selling her shoes and start acusing him for stealing them. They argued long enough until the guy noticed Cinderella's bad habit; blinking her eyes nonstop at certain point. "It is you!" "the lady I dance with last night." said the guy. "It can be you.""You should be the Prince of England" said Cinderella.

It turns out the guy is just a pauper and servant. His fate are just the same as Cinderella. An announcement made "make ways for the Prince of England" "he's on his way to buy some fruits and candies" Cinderella were overly excited leaving the pauper guy behind. "Huhhhh???" he's the Prince..Without wasting time, Cinderella ran back to the pauper guy and ask him to be her loving husband. Weird eh??

"Anyway, why did you chose me and not the Prince?" asked the pauper guy. "Hehe" (evil laugh). "Well let just put it this way, you are a lot more better than him in terms of appearence." "Eventough you're poor, at least we have the same fate right" said Cinderella. And so the pauper guy accepts Cinderella's proposal and they got married.

In the end they turn out to be a very happy and sucessful pauper in town. ^________^

Our Trip to Zoo Negara...

It was one fine weekend morning where everyone was happy because they all could stay in bed for a longer time compared to the weekdays. As usual, my sisters and I were planning to go for a shopping spree at KLCC. At the same time we were thinking of playing bowling where it costs us 8 Ringgit Malaysia per person. Suddently, one of my so called money saver sister came out of the blue with free bowling coupons. She said "you guys can play bowling for free with this coupon instead you know.""How cool is that."As we keep on planning, our chubby little brother interfered our conversations. “Sis, I want to go the Zoo! Let's all go there pleaaaase!!!!”. He insisted with great determination.

“Oh-nooo, he's ruining all the planning”. We dramatized scolding him and shooed him out of our room. Yes I know, evil as a sister can be. Anyway, our brother ran straight to our mom and cried his eyes out; whining and demanding to be brought to the zoo. He told mom of our unwillingness to agree and exaggerated on the part where we chased him out of our room. By the way, our brother is known to exaggerate over little things.

Abruptly, mom looked at us with irate looks on her face as if she is going to turn into a Hulk. It was so daunting that we could not even say a single word at that time. Our mom is known for her sternness in our family so without missing a beat, mom ordered my eldest sister to prepare for an ad hoc family Zoo Trip. “What????”, I whined to show my disagreement. But there is nothing we can do to change her mind about the Zoo trip.

As we hopped into the vehicle, I wondered how Zoo looks like. The last time I went was back when I was in primary school, 4^th grade if my memory serves me right, so I expected a few changes here and there now. (How hopeless is that?). As we go about our destination, my brother enlightened us by saying, "All tigers have more than thirty two teeth discovered so far. Therefore all tigers will have more than thirty two teeth". It was quite a dull journey for me coz they from there, they all started agreeing and disagreeing nonstop. As we arrived at the Zoo Negara entrance, I suddenly felt this welcome feeling inside me. Oh my god is this excitement I’m feeling? I felt like a 4^th grader once more.

As the Zoo caretaker led us inside, I was shocked to see so many changes made. The Zoo was absolutely dissimilar from the Zoo I went few years back. Everything was clean, everything was in order and the most crucial thing for me; the smell. There were no more pungent lingering smell that greets our nose at the entrance door. Much to my own surprise, I jumped up and down ecstatically. Our first stop was the Giraffe site and later followed by the elephant site.

Unfortunately, I cannot bear inhaling while standing at the elephant site. I remember feeling nauseas at the pit of my stomach. It’s a zoo, how nice-smelling can it be right? To be fair, it was bearable. Anyway, the strong smell turned out to be the elephants letting out excess waste. For that reason, I rocketed past the site hoping that the smell won't stick on my shirt. I like elephants just as any other animals, but I couldn't stay long due to my nose sensitivity. As we walked on, I saw the birds; pecans, peacocks and parrots beautifully flying high across the skies.

Parrots seemed to be my favorite amongst all birds’ family. I tried approaching one of the parrots there, but sadly it flew away from me. Luckily, one of the Zoo caretaker gave me the chance to hold the parrots and I was given the opportunity to take photos with the parrot!. Seriously, this is the happiest moment as far as my many zoo trips have been.

The zoo visit took up our entire day. There were a lot of pit stops and types of creatures and whatnots but the part I remember most was when we reached the dear arena. My little sister, Aishah, asked me a question, "Sis, do dears eat humans like lions do?". Okay, thank God it was an easy question for me to answer. I replied, "no honey, dears don't eat human...they only eat grass and maybe vegetables." As I finished my sentence, she jumped and dashed towards the site saying, "Well in that case I'd like to pose and take picture next to them lah", she replied euphorically. Hermmm...kids today.

As the day moved towards late afternoon, my mom got exhausted as all of us. We packed our stuff and hopped in the train provided by the zoo negara and headed towards the exit. It was a very unforgettable experience and moments in my family’s life and mine. I hope to go there again. As it turned out, the trip was not something that we regret doing after all. It was fun, enjoyable and a great way to spend a day with your loved ones. Family is everything to me.

1. "Mom looked at us with irate looks on her face as if she is going to turn into a hulk".

• This is a simile, that I have used to describe my mom facial expression. It is to compare her expression with some other ideas that creates an image.

2. "All tigers have more than thirty two teeth discovered so far. Therefore, all tigers will have more than thirty two teeth".

• Here I had been using the Inductive Generalization because the statement is drawing a generalization as a likely conclusion from observations. As we know Inductive Generalization falls under the Inductive Reasoning.

3. "I rocketed past the site hoping that the smell won't stick on my shirt."

• Here I had been using Metaphor to express my actions. It is a part of a sentences that creates a comparative image in a persons mind, without using comparative qualifiers.

4. "Sis, do dears eat humans like lions do?"

• Here, I had been using the Interrogative Questions to show how my sister wanted to gain information. By using this type of question it shows that she is trying to find out some information about the differences between dear and lion.

5. At the time we were thinking of playing bowling where it costs us 8 Ringgit Malaysia per person...Suddenly, one of my so called money saver sister came out of the blue with free bowling coupons. she said "you guys can play bowling for free with this coupon instead you know."

• Here, I had been using the Alternative Relationship also known as Exceptional Relationship. By using this type of relationship, it shows that other than using our money to play bowling; we have other alternative to choose. That is the free coupons given by one of our siblings.
